VINEYARD NOTES
The vines are all organically grown and the bush vines are between 10 and 80 years old. The vines are either massal or clonal selections, but always low yielding with small berries.
WINEMAKING NOTES
All necessary vineyard work was carried out to maximize grape quality. The grapes were hand-picked and cold-macerated for 36 hours before fermentation in a tank. 20% was then aged in 400L French oak barrels for 16 months.
TASTING NOTES
This exceptional blend offers a seductive bouquet of blueberry, plum, liquorice, spice, and damson. Vibrant red fruit and silky tannins are beautifully balanced by ripe acidity and remarkable freshness. While approachable upon release, this wine will continue to evolve in the bottle for several years.
FOOD STYLE
This wine pairs beautifully with grilled meats, slow-cooked lamb, Mediterranean dishes, aged cheeses, and even dark chocolate.
