At the gateway to Bordeaux, the appellations of Graves, Pessac-Léognan, Sauternes and Barsac trace an historic lineage along the Left Bank of the Garonne River. Here, over 450 winegrowers are committed to cultivating their estates with passion, ingenuity and family know-how. The people of Graves-Sauternes are the living legacy of “Grands Vins de Bordeaux,” known for prestigious Classified Growths like Château Yquem and Château Haut Brion as well as new generation winemaking and inspiration. This is a region of big personalities and small vineyards dedicated to the production of memorable wines. At the heart of the region lies one of the wine world’s most diverse terroirs, defined by complex natural elements from the Atlantic Ocean, rivers, forests and climate. The result is a range of stylish red, white and sweet wines with extraordinary finesse and wide appeal.
Come on our booth to meet 15 producers that will be happy to present the diversity of their wines from Graves, Pessac-Léognan, Sauternes and Barsac.
Château Haut Claverie has been in the same family since 1800. Located in Fargues close to Bordeaux we produce Sauternes, Graves Red, Bordeaux White and Rosé. The know-how of the past generations combined with new technologies and agro-ecological viticulture, gives birth to a range of wines that translate the love of hard work and dedication.
Respecting the environment, being HVE (High Environmental Value) certified since 2019, we aim at using an eco-responsible method, through agroforestry planting, green manure crops sowing and viti pastoralism.
Located along the Way of St. James, the Graves region has long contributed to the worldwide renown of Bordeaux’s great wines. It is even said that Emperor Charlemagne once stayed in La Brède on his return from Roncesvalles...
La Brède, a place of distinction, is centered around the poetic Château de Montesquieu and its famous library.
Its soils are generally gravelly, sandy, or clay-limestone, while neighboring Saint-Selve offers more siliceous and clay-rich terrain.
The wines of Château d’Arguin and Domaine du Reys are born from these exceptional terroirs.
The Graves and its vineyards benefit from a beautifully balanced mix of grape varieties (Sémillon – Sauvignon Blanc / Merlot – Cabernet Sauvignon) and enjoy superb sun exposure, now extending over 13 hectares.
In 2023, Eric and Elisabet took over Château Lange, driven by a deep desire to work the land and produce a wine true to their vision: sincere, vibrant, and deeply rooted in its terroir.
Today, the estate spans 25 acres of vineyards planted with Sauvignon Blanc, Muscadelle, and Sémillon, the emblematic grape varieties of Sauternes.
Each harvest is carried out by hand, berry by berry, in several passes, to pick the grapes at their perfect point of balance. The wines are then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. This hand-crafted method reveals all the complexity, finess and magic of Sauternes.
Led by a new generation, Château Lange aims to open a modern chapter in its history. By revisiting the image of its bottle with a bolder and more rebellious touch, while respecting traditional methods, the estate affirms its commitment to introducing Sauternes to a younger, more curious audience.

A true jewel of nature in the city, Château Brown is one of the rare vineyards to be found on the outskirts of the city.
Situated on te southern edge of the city of Bordeaux, the 31-hectare single vineyard is rooted in some of the oldest terroirs in the Bordeaux wine region.
Purchased by the Mau and Dirkzwager families in 2004, Château Brown has since been completely rethought and restructured.
At the head of the estate, Jean-Christophe Mau puts the vineyard at the heart of his concerns and is committed above all to the highest standards of viticulture.
Here, everything possible is done to protect this exceptional setting where vines, meadows, woods and gardens intermingle over 60 hectares. everything possible is done to protect this exceptional setting where vines, flower-filled meadows, woods and gardens intermingle. Only 31 hectares of vines are grown on the 60 hectares of potential AOC land. More than 200 trees and 4 kilometres of hedges have been planted, while drainage water is collected and transformed into wetlands to create a balanced ecosystem. An orchard with many fruit trees and a flower farm diversify the crops grown.
The discreet presence of a dove on the label is a reminder that biodiversity is THE priority for the owners.
Deer, rabbits and birds are now part of the daily landscape of the vineyard. The 150 nesting boxes for chickadees and bats, installed in 2021, are gradually being colonised, and the estate's apiary produces Miel des terres de Brown every year.
Château Brown has been awarded "High Environmental Value" certification for its rational viticulture practices.
The estate refrains from using anti-rot chemicals, glyphosate or CMR (carcinogenic, mutagenic and reprotoxic) products, while 100% of the foliar fertilisers and soil improvers used are of organic origin. Working the soil, plant cover and prophylaxis are at the heart of a winegrowing strategy in search of a natural balance.
In addition to its agricultural activities, the company is taking concrete steps to reduce the carbon footprint of its business as a whole. By selecting local suppliers with an eco-responsible approach, and by making well-considered packaging choices, Château Brown aims to reduce its ecological impact throughout the supply chain.
Jean-Christophe Mau's concern for impeccable quality extends to every stage in the winemaking process, so that his wines reflect his own image: precise, generous and consistent.
The grapes are harvested by hand, in small crates, at optimum ripeness. The bunches are sorted one by one on the vine, then only the most beautiful berries are selected by a latest-generation optical sorting machine.
The ensuing extraction is as gentle as possible (without punching down) and the wine is matured on a parcel-by-parcel basis until the final blend. Sulphur levels are remarkably low.
Vintage after vintage, the quality of the wines has risen sharply, as has their reputation. The seriousness and consistency of the wines are rewarded more and more each year by the greatest international journalists, with scores worthy of the classified growths of the appellation.
A historic estate, Château de Rouillac once belonged to the famous Baron Haussmann, who acquired the property in 1864. He ordered extensive renovation work and tied the estate’s history to horses by building beautiful stables. Even at that time, the estate was already producing an excellent red wine.
In 2009, when Laurent Cisneros came across the property, he fell under the spell of this “sleeping beauty” and decided to bind his destiny—and that of his family—to Rouillac. A passionate man and accomplished leader, he was reminded of his roots by his Spanish ancestors, winemakers in La Mancha. Rouillac had everything needed to embody a new life project: a magnificent terroir and exceptional working tools that only awaited being sustainably revived for Château de Rouillac.
Château Climens is the highest vineyard in the Barsac appellation, an incomparable terroir where one finds a truly wonderful expression of Semillon. Such innate distinction, completed by the consecutive owners’ great care, soon earned Climens the name of ‘Lord of Barsac’, and the title of First classified growth of Sauternes in 1855. The vineyard’s surface area, a single vineyard of 30 hectares has remained unchanged since the 16th century. In 1971, the finesse of its wines convinced Lucien Lurton, a famous Bordeaux wine-grower to purchase the estate. Since 1992, his daughter Berenice Lurton is taking great care in perpetuating the magic. She has converted in 2010 the whole vineyard into biodynamics, another expression of her involvement. Since July 2022, Moitry Family has taken the direction of Château Climens for a new adventure!
