Bréchallune, AOP Picpoul de Pinet 2025 (Organic)
95/100 Decanter Panel Tasting, May 2026 (2024 vintage). 93/100 La Revue du Vin de France, Guide 2027 (2024 vintage). Wine of the Week, JancisRobinson.com, October 2026 (2025 vintage): “taking Picpoul de Pinet to the level of fine wine”.
100% Picpoul Blanc from a single-parcel selection, picked late and aged on fine lees for six months, 30% in stoneware jars and the rest in concrete tank.
Golden in colour, with lemon, white blossom, poached pear and quince on the nose. The palate is generous and structured by fine bitterness, with notes of spice and candied fruit, and a saline, savoury and persistent finish. Serve chilled (12°C) with fish carpaccio, sushi or aïoli. It will also reward cellaring. Also available in magnum and jeroboam. Each case holds six different hand-drawn fish labels.
