Predominantly Mourvèdre with Grenache, planted on the Villafranchian terraces and basalt scree of Nizas, with yields of around 20 hl/ha. Hand-harvested into 15 kg crates in two to three passes, with sorting at the vine. Two to three weeks of vinification, followed by 44 months of ageing in enamelled steel tanks, with no oak at any stage. A fine texture framing an architectural structure, and a liquorice, rooty finish that is the signature of Mourvèdre. A wine built for the cellar, with ageing potential of up to thirty years.
