La Syrah N°1

Domaine Les Aurelles' first multi-vintage Syrah, blended from five vintages between 2018 and 2023. N°1 does not refer to a year: it opens a series that will evolve from one blend to the next. Villafranchian terraces and basalt scree in Nizas, yields of around 20 hl/ha, hand-harvested in several passes. Long ageing in enamelled steel tanks, with no oak. Black fruit, sweet spices and a discreet note of liquorice. A broad, generous texture held together by freshness.
