This is the first liter bottle we produced. After a trip with our US importer we decided to make an easy drinking daily wine that can be enjoyed by everyone. How to call it? “it’s red!”, but it simply is red wine that you can drink without too much thinking.
This wine has a maceration of about 10 days and then it’s aged for about one year in concrete tanks, like our ancestors would have done.
Our grandparents would recycle the bottles of the water, just like this one, and put the wine they made into it. This is why we chose the liter bottle, to communicate that this is an everyday wine for everybody. This is why we call it “Vino del popolo” (wine of the people).
