Grape Variety : Chardonnay
Located in the village of Leynes, the vineyards of this terroir are rooted on the heights of the place called "La Citadelle", about 380m. Formerly at the top of the mountain to find an old chapel. The Southwest orientation is marked with a strong exposure to the prevailing wind. The soil is rather poor, very draining on a granite base forming a red stone aboulie.
The vinification is conducted in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats in order to keep all the freshness and finesse of the Chardonay. The objective is to preserve the freshness and the immense fruitiness of this vintage. The fermentations are conducted with native yeast, it is then matured for nine months before being lightly filtered before bottling.
The nose is marked by its great expression of fruity aromas. There is a strong concentration of exotic notes and citrus on a softer background of pear and plum. In the mouth, the wine is very greedy and will seduce by its roundness and are crunchy.
Ideal companion of the aperitif thanks to its fruity, it will be able to accompany all your entries, white meat or cheese.
This wine is consumed young to benefit from all the power of its fruity aromas. It will keep between three and five years in cellar.
