Corinne Chevrier – Manager and Winemaker of Château Bel-Air La Royère
In 1992, the Chevrier family, fourth-generation winemakers, fell under the spell of this old Gironde estate located in Cars, in the heart of the Blaye-Côtes-de-Bordeaux appellation. With courage and passion, Corinne undertook the complete restoration of the vineyard and buildings, breathing new life into the estate. Coming from a line of cognac producers, she draws on her roots but chose to forge her own path. Her choices shape the strong identity of Bel-Air La Royère:
● 1995: reintroduction of Malbec, which she calls "the illegitimate child of the Bordeaux vineyards."
● 2019: official conversion to organic farming, the result of a long-standing commitment to the environment.
● Experimentation with new aging methods, such as amphorae and cognac casks.
● More recently, the reintroduction of Castets, a forgotten Bordeaux grape variety, to further enrich the estate's diversity.
Today, Corinne is recognized for her elegant and bold wines, an expression of a perfect symbiosis between tradition and innovation.
Château Yvonne is an estate founded in 1997. The winemakers and owners are Stéphanie and Mathieu Vallée.
The estate covers 19 hectares.
The vines have been cultivated organically since 1997.
The vines are located in the heart of the Saumur Champigny appellation, with a high proportion of white Chenin (1/3).
We also produce a Pineau d'Aunis cuvée.
In the vineyard and cellar, we strive to respect the grapes as much as possible: harvests are carried out by hand, and the wines are yeast-free.
The aging process varies depending on the vintage: concrete vats, wooden vats, barrels, or amphorae.
Domaine Fabrice Gasnier is located inthe Centre Val de Loire in Cravant-les- Côteaux, a village known for the quality of its wines from the Chinon appellation. For 5 generations, members of this family have succeeded each other, bringing many changes that have shaped the image of the Domaine and allowed it to develop. Aware of their surrounding environment, Sandrine and Fabrice became interested
in organic and biodynamic farming in 1998. In 2000, the Estate became fully organic.
The 35-hectare vineyard, spread over 40 plots, extends mainly over clay and limestone soils. The estate’s grape variety represents 90% Cabernet Franc and 10% Chenin. The family’s desire is to highlight the most beautiful characteristics of these two emblematic varieties.
In 2019, following their experience on a wine estate in New Zealand, Cynthia and Valentin joined the family adventure, driven by the same passion for wine. Together, they contribute to the development of the Domaine and consolidate the work of their elders, respecting their surroundings, aware of the new climatic and economic challenges that will come their way.
A family property created in the 1930s, the Domaine is located about 15 kilometres south-west of Nantes, on the shores of the Lac de Grandlieu, the largest natural lake in France.
The Atlantic Ocean is only 30 km away and often brings us its offshore breezes.
Since 2020, the domaine is owned by ourselves, Juliane and Jean-Gabriel Tridon.
Today, we lavish great care and attention on 20 hectares of vines that we work entirely according to organic growing principles.
Nestled on the heights of the Layon, Domaine Sauveroy is a family estate of the Anjou Noir, shaped by three generations. The vineyards, planted with Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc, express themselves on complex soils of schist, clay and quartz, within a structured landscape of enclosed parcels, natural slopes and rich biodiversity. Certified organic, the estate pursues a terroir-driven viticulture and a demanding, precise reading of place. Each wine is crafted as a faithful interpretation of its soils and landscapes, within a resolutely high-end and sustainable vision.
