Established in 2002, Angus The Bull Cabernet Sauvignon is produced in Victoria, AUSTRALIA. Promoted as the perfect accompaniment to prime beef... “Anywhere there’s a good piece of beef, we want Angus The Bull to be part of that occasion”. It’s a simple proposition, however it has proven to be remarkable successful. We produce approximately 300,000 bottles per year and export to 22 countries worldwide.

The range now includes a Merlot called Wee Angus [Little Angus]. This label is positioned as the “Little Brother” to Angus The Bull and is made in a softer style to appeal to a wider customer profile. A number of years ago we launched our Black Angus [Single Vineyard] label. A super premium Cabernet Sauvignon crafted from an exceptional site located in Heathcote. Positioned as our “Flagship” label and only released in the very best vintages. More recently we expanded our Heathcote range and added Porterhouse Shiraz and BLK+BLU Shiraz Cabernet to the portfolio. 

The wine styles are undeniably “New World”. However there is a distinct effort to create a balance between the ripeness and power of Australian growing conditions with a more refined elegance that is fundamental to the food pairing ambitions of these wines.

From humble beginnings in 1992, we are now a Certified B Corporation, and oitū certified net carbonzero (ISO14064) producing estate-grown, made and bottled certified sustainable (ISO14001) Marlborough wines.

Our small team of just 18 people is a relaxed bunch but take making wine seriously. So much so, we do everything ourselves, from growing and nurturing the vines to making the wines and bottling on site. In addition to our outstanding flagship wine, Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, we also grow and make other varieties including Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Each is an authentic representation of the grape variety and where it is grown.

       Notre petite équipe de seulement 18 personnes est décontractée, mais la vinification est une affaire sérieuse. À tel point que nous faisons tout nous-mêmes, de la culture et de l’entretien des vignes à l’élaboration des vins et à la mise en bouteille sur place. Outre notre exceptionnel vin phare, le Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, nous cultivons et produisons également d’autres cépages, comme le Riesling, le Pinot Gris, le Gewurztraminer, le Chardonnay et le Pinot Noir. Chacun d’entre eux est une représentation authentique du cépage et de son terroir.
