Established in 2002, Angus The Bull Cabernet Sauvignon is produced in Victoria, AUSTRALIA. Promoted as the perfect accompaniment to prime beef... “Anywhere there’s a good piece of beef, we want Angus The Bull to be part of that occasion”. It’s a simple proposition, however it has proven to be remarkable successful. We produce approximately 300,000 bottles per year and export to 22 countries worldwide.
The range now includes a Merlot called Wee Angus [Little Angus]. This label is positioned as the “Little Brother” to Angus The Bull and is made in a softer style to appeal to a wider customer profile. A number of years ago we launched our Black Angus [Single Vineyard] label. A super premium Cabernet Sauvignon crafted from an exceptional site located in Heathcote. Positioned as our “Flagship” label and only released in the very best vintages. More recently we expanded our Heathcote range and added Porterhouse Shiraz and BLK+BLU Shiraz Cabernet to the portfolio.
The wine styles are undeniably “New World”. However there is a distinct effort to create a balance between the ripeness and power of Australian growing conditions with a more refined elegance that is fundamental to the food pairing ambitions of these wines.
