What’s more, there is the promise that it is the perfect partner with red meat, no idle boast with such a strong hearted Merlot at the helm. A ripe, dark fruited Merlot definitely in its happy place with black fruits, plums to the fore backed by a distinct, attractive earthiness with liquorice and spice. Ripe, muscular tannins roll through carrying with them some good drinking – or eating and drinking – pleasure. Top price.”
