Our family estate is located on the heights of Epernay, Capital of Champagne. At the beginning of this adventure, our parents Marie-Madeleine and Patrick BOIVIN, they decided to create their own brand in 1978 with some parcels coming from our grandparents in the village 1er CRU of CUMIERES. Year after year, they increased our vineyard to 6 ha through several villages around Epernay. In 2022, a new challenge for my sister and I : the construction of our own production site and become independent in the elaboration of our champagnes and thus, more than our terroir, we will mark with our character our next cuvées.
Notre domaine familial est situé sur les hauteurs d'Epernay, Capitale du Champagne. Au début de cette aventure, nos parents Marie-Madeleine et Patrick BOIVIN, ont décidé de créer leur propre marque en 1978 avec quelques parcelles provenant de nos grands-parents dans le village 1er CRU de CUMIERES. Année après année, ils ont porté notre vignoble à 6 ha à travers plusieurs villages autour d'Epernay. En 2022, un nouveau défi pour ma sœur et moi : la construction de notre propre site de production et devenir indépendant dans l'élaboration de nos champagnes et ainsi, plus que notre terroir, nous marquerons de notre caractère nos prochaines cuvées.
The Emile Leclère house is located in the heart of the Champagne, in Mardeuil (Region : VALLEE DE LA MARNE), 2 kms from EPERNAY. A family house with a wonderful legacy, founded in 1832 by Emile and Hélène LECLERE, has evolved over the last 5 generations with as much passion as know-how.
Several generations have succeeded…Currently, the 5th generation is represented by Vincent and Marie.
We produce about 110 000 bottles/year, which we sell in France, as well as in several foreign countries. Our vineyard (13ha) is composed of 60% Pinot Meunier, 30% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Noir.
We sell 50% to export markets and 50% in France.
Our main foreign markets are :
United States, Canada, England, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Holland, Sweden, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
From harvest to bottling, each step of the production of our champagne is carried out by us, in order to guarantee the constant quality of our different vintages. We are totally independent.
In 2018, we have built a new site with a new "pressing room" and « vats room » on 1 hectare in order to increase our storage and production capacity.
We are winegrowers but not only…
During the harvest, we offer our services to press the grapes for the "big" houses, such as MOET ET CHANDON, VEUVE CLIQUOT HENRIOT, PALMER...but also for smaller houses, we work with 70 champagne houses.
In 2021, we obtained 2 certifications: HVE and VDC (level 3). Sensitive to environmental issues, EMILE LECLERE wanted to commit to an environmental approach.
