Ophélie Lapie Lamiable
Winegrower – Champagne
I am a winegrower based in Tours-sur-Marne, in the heart of Champagne. Together with my husband Arnaud, we farm 8 hectares of vineyards spread across several emblematic terroirs: Tours-sur-Marne and Bouzy (both Grand Cru), as well as Billy-le-Grand (Premier Cru), Essoyes and Fontette.
We produce approximately 65,000 bottles per year, with a constant focus on expressing the uniqueness of each terroir, precision in winemaking, and consistent quality.
Champagne Lamiable traces its roots back to the post–Second World War period, when Pierre Lamiable planted his first vines in Tours-sur-Marne. In 1960, he began producing his own Champagnes. His son, Jean-Pierre Lamiable, later developed bottled sales and structured the estate, making it possible today to market the entire production.
Since 2006, I have been carrying on this family legacy. For the past eight years, Arnaud and I have been working side by side and have unified the distribution of our two brands—Champagne Lamiable and Champagne Lapie-Lamiable—offering a coherent and complementary range of wines.
Both of our estates are certified High Environmental Value (HVE) and Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne.
In 2020, we began converting the majority of our vineyards to organic farming. The 2024 harvest will be the first to be certified organic for our Grand Cru vineyards, marking a key milestone in our sustainability journey.
We are seeking long-term partnerships with importers and wine merchants who share our values of authenticity, respect for terroir, and artisanal craftsmanship.
Please feel free to contact us to discuss our cuvées and current availability.
