history and values shared by two families. Bodegas montecillo
strengthens this visionary character and sets a course outside rioja,
like those voyages made a hundred years ago on the steamship el
montecillo, belonging to the navajas family.
Vintage 2024: vintage rated as very good. thanks to a rigorous control
and exhaustive treatments in our vineyards to prevent from possible
attacks, the grapes ripened correctly. moderate temperatures favored
slow ripening and accumulation of aromas, enhanced by a balanced
production. the result was healthy grapes, with good acidity and fresh
fruit aromas.
