history and values shared by two families. Bodegas montecillo
strengthens this visionary character and sets a course outside rioja,
like those voyages made a hundred years ago on the steamship el
montecillo, belonging to the navajas family. an authentic and
full-bodied tempranillo, where the ripe black fruit is full
protagonist.
Vintage 2023 vintage rated as excellent. the fifth most abundant in terms of
quantity. the grapes ripened well thanks to the absence of frost and
less rainfall than expected, resulting in smaller berries, but with a
lot of skin.
