Aged for 3 years in large oak barrels, followed by a long bottle refinement. Released after 5 years from harvest.

Vineyards in Monforte (“Ginestra” cru) e La Morra
Garnet red with orange reflections, typical of extended aging.
Clear and consistent in the glass.
Perfume
Broad, complex, and deep. It opens with notes of ripe red fruit
(marasca cherry in alcohol, plum), followed by tertiary aromas
of leather, tobacco, sweet spices (liquorice, clove), with subtle
balsamic and underbrush nuances. It closes with an elegant
mineral note and a slight ethereal touch.
Taste
On the palate it is austere yet harmonious, with dense,
polished, and well-integrated tannins. The finish is long and
persistent, with returning notes of spices and aromatic herbs.
Pairing food
Roasts, game, mature cheeses. Excellent as a meditation wine
at the end of a meal.
