Among the great diversity of the estate's terroirs, there is one that is exceptional: the Kimmeridgian or marls with small oysters. This clay-limestone soil has numerous flat stones composed of tiny fossils (especially oysters). These fossilized stones retain water in the soil and release it to the vines during periods of drought, thus regulating the growth of the vines and the ripening of the grapes.
Kiméride is a parcel selection from our Kimmeridgian terroirs (fossil limestone), with long aging on fine lees, with very expressive aromas of ripe fruit and a lot of structure.
Kiméride is produced only with the best vintages (recently 2014 - 2015 - 2017 - 2019 - 2020 - 2022...) and is marketed after one or two vintages.
