Perfect Pairing Unveiled in Paris
Hall 6 C291 – Lanchester Wines
Building on Wine Paris’ theme of perfect pairing, the Lanchester Group is bringing together two worlds that rarely meet with success: wine and chocolate. This time, though, the match works. These are no ordinary chocolates.
The Lanchester Group brings together a family of complementary businesses under long‑standing family ownership. This includes wine importers and merchants Lanchester Wines and The Wine Fusion, as well as Greencroft Bottling, one of the UK’s leading contract wine bottlers. The Group also includes confectionery specialist Bon Bon’s, which has recently acquired award‑winning artisan chocolatier Choc Amor.
At Wine Paris 2026, the Group will showcase a series of bold wine and chocolate pairings that highlight the creativity and craft behind each business:
Chocolate. Wine
Chili and Lime Nika Tiki Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc (New Zealand)
Orange and Jalfrezi Tombacco Falanghina (Italy)
Rum and Raisin Penny Island Pinot Noir (Russian River, California)
Salt Liquorice Estelar Carménère (Chile)
Twisted Latte Champagne Moutard Cuvée Six Cépages (France)
Chocolate and wine can be challenging to match, so our approach was to select wines with the structure, aromatics and flavour definition needed to stand up to Choc Amor’s layered profiles. Each pairing highlights a specific point of harmony: bright acidity to lift spice and citrus, varietal aromatics that complement bold inclusions, or supple tannins that work with richer cocoa notes. The result is a set of combinations that are daring but well‑balanced, designed to spark interest for retailers, buyers and hospitality teams looking for fresh ways to engage consumers.
These pairings demonstrate how each part of the Lanchester Group works seamlessly together and for the UK wine trade. Bon Bon’s creates premium confectionery used across gifting ranges for sister company Spicers of Hythe, while Lanchester Wines and The Wine Fusion supply the wines featured in those hampers. Greencroft Bottling, meanwhile, provides sustainable and scalable bottling solutions to brands across the portfolio and beyond.
Choc Amor’s chocolates are crafted using ethically sourced single‑origin Colombian cocoa via the Chocolate Dreams programme and are known for their unique, bold layered flavour profiles. The chocolatier has achieved national and international recognition, including Great Taste Awards, International Chocolate Awards and Academy of Chocolate Awards, securing its reputation for flavour innovation.
The result is a showcase that brings together craftsmanship, creativity and collaboration across the Group – a perfect pairing for Wine Paris 2026.
All chocolates and wines will be available to taste throughout Wine Paris, in Hall 6 C291 – Lanchester Wines and Greencroft Bottling.
