Marlborough wine producer, Lawson’s Dry Hills, is proving that putting environmental sustainability at the forefront of the business is no compromise on quality. In fact, GM Sion Barnsley, says the opposite. “Sustainability leads all our decision making, giving us greater efficiencies as we focus on growing and making the best wines possible. It’s great to see that endorsed by these results.”
In addition to gold at the UK’s 2025 International Wine Challenge and Cameron Douglas, MS awarding the wine 95 points, the recently judged
New Zealand International Wine Show resulted in a ‘double gold’ for the Lawson's Dry Hills Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2024, scoring 98 points out of 100. The 2025 vintage was also awarded gold, as was the Estate Sauvignon Blanc 2025 and company’s Inviniti Sauvignon Blanc 2025.
Lawson's Dry Hills Riesling 2020 also received a gold medal.
