Comprising a Blanc de Noirs, a Blanc de Blancs and a Rosé de Saignée, the Iconic range offers a gastronomic approach. These wines, which either highlight a particular grape variety or a specific production method, aim to reveal the essence of their terroir, enhanced by a carefully controlled and extended maturation period in our six kilometers of chalk cellars.
Finally, in keeping with its commitments, values, and deep-rooted connection to the heart of the vineyard, Maison Canard-Duchêne has launched a program to reduce the weight of this Iconic bottle by 13%, achieving a weight lower than that of the current lighter Champagne bottle.
The Léonie Iconic cuvée is a tribute to the woman who co-founded the Maison, crafted in a fresh, indulgent style with emphasis on the finesse and elegance of Pinot Noir. This cuvée is distinguished by its combination of wines from the current vintage together with a Perpetual Reserve made up of earlier blends, giving it both an immutable style and aromatic depth.
A hallmark of the Montagne de Reims terroir, the Blanc de Noirs Iconic cuvée combines outstanding Crus, including Ludes, Aÿ, Mailly and Ambonnay, giving pride of place to Pinot Noir. It also stands out for blending a high proportion of reserve wines, including a perpetual reserve made from the Maison’s finest black grapes, selected since 2012, in the style of a solera and used like a unique spice.
