Valle di Mezzane – Verona, Italy – In the heart of the Valle di Mezzane, Alessandro and Beatrice Benini have returned to their family roots and the craft of winemaking, creating a project that combines respect for the land, care for nature, and a deep passion for their territory.
For the Benini family, wine is more than a product—it is a way to tell a story, share values, and convey emotions. Each bottle is a reflection of craftsmanship and personality, produced with care and respect for the land and raw materials, resulting in wines that are harmonious, clear, and well-balanced.
Philosophy: Kalós kaì agathós
The ancient Greek phrase Kalós kaì agathós translates as “beautiful and good,” representing both external beauty and moral excellence. For Benini Wines, this ideal guides every decision in the vineyard and winery, aiming to produce wines that are distinctive, balanced, and expressive of their territory.
Vineyards and Terroir
Benini Wines cultivates 12 hectares of vineyards, with vines aged between 40 and 60 years. Traditional training systems are applied: Veronese pergola for Garganega and Trentino pergola and Guyot for red varieties. The vineyards have been certified organic since 2020, practicing sustainable agriculture without herbicides, insecticides, or synthetic chemicals.
