More than 200 exhibitors under the Portuguese Wine Pavilion for the 2025 edition of Wine Paris
Over 1,600 square meters in Hall 4 and more than 200 Portuguese wine exhibitors representing all the country's wine-growing regions will showcase the wide variety of wines produced from the country's numerous indigenous grape varieties at Wine Paris 2025. ViniPortugal's consulting oenologists will offer visitors tailor-made tastings on three possible themes in the discovery area, where 50 wines will be featured.
Three wine-tasting itineraries based on consumer trends
As consumers become increasingly demanding in their choices, several key trends are taking shape, forging the future of international wine consumption. For this 2025 edition of Wine Paris, Wines of Portugal will offer three experiential tasting itineraries reflecting these new consumer trends.
The "National Sustainability Seal" itinerary will present wines under the Portuguese National Reference for Sustainability Certification, wines produced by wineries that have a sustainability-based approach maintaining economic and productive competitiveness as well as a sustainable viticulture with the aim of preventing negative environmental impacts and adapting to climate change, through the adaptation of production practices.
The "Low-intervention & Low Alcohol" itinerary will offer low intervention wines like Amphora and Pet Nat wines and will also offer light, low-alcohol wines.
The "Tradition & Diversity" itinerary will showcase wines with different styles made from indigenous grape varieties and from different wine regions.

Exports on the rise
From January to November 2024, Portuguese wine exports reached €899 million (vs. €861 million from January to November 2023), an increase of 4,3%, and reached 329 million liters, up 9,8% to the same period in 2023.
The United States and France remain the two main export markets for Portuguese wines, accounting for €94,8 million and €93,5 million in the first eleven months of the year. Next to those two countries comes Brazil (€80,3 million), the UK (€79,3 million), and the Netherlands (€47,3 million).
According to Federico Falcão, President of ViniPortugal, "During the first eleven months of the year, we saw a growth of almost 10% in the volume of our exports. This growth demonstrates the strong demand for our wines on international markets, underlining Portuguese wines' competitiveness, resilience, and quality."
