In Puglia, where the sun kisses the earth, in 1954 Angelo Paradiso, a bold farmer with his eyes focused on the future, chose to transform his grapes into the nectar of the gods, giving life to his cellar. With the help of his four children, the family business continued to develop the art of winemaking, focusing attention on native vines. We reach the present day in which the company represents the right combination of tradition and innovation.
Winery Feudi di Guagnano was born from a simple yet powerful promise: not to let the old family vineyards die.
Among the red soils of Salento, our inherited Negroamaro and Primitivo vines were once at risk of being abandoned—silent witnesses of a past that was slowly fading. But Gianvito, Carlo, and Franco chose a different path. They decided to stay, to rescue those roots, and to give them a new future.
Season after season, vine after vine, we brought life back to these precious grapes. Today they continue to thrive, offering wines that carry the warmth of our land and the stories of the people who care for it.
We are a small, family-run winery, and that is our strength: every gesture is personal, every decision thoughtful, every bottle a piece of who we are. Our wines are not just produced—they are crafted, with patience, respect, and the desire to share the soul of Salento with those who taste them.
The company was founded in 1927 by great-grandfather Pasquale.
Today it represents four generations and almost a century of history in the wine industry.
Mottura is one of the largest family-owned and -operated wineries in Apulia.
Today, the company is run by Antonio Mottura and his niece, Barbara Mottura.
A unique land, Salento, and a unique style: tradition, know-how and innovation have always been part of Mottura's style.
From the very beginning, we have been committed to promoting authentic and unmistakable local grapes, such as Primitivo, Negroamaro, Susumaniello, Fiano and Aletico, and to preserving the wine-making tradition

We are elated to introduce you Schola Sarmenti; a unique and multiple award-winning Apulian Winery, located in Salento at the very southern part of Puglia. From the very start in 1999 our mission has been the cultivation of authentic native grapes such as Primitivo, Negroamaro, Susumaniello, Malvasia, and Fiano, in the most natural and organic way possible. Most of these receive the typical Albarello Pugliese Training. In every Schola Sarmenti wine you can feel the warm embrace of a precious terroir, thanks to a magical and harmonious combination of tradition, oenological science, and high innovation. Even our oldest vines (80 years of age) are skilfully and patiently preserved – we take great pride in selecting only the best grapes which are ripened and picked respecting centuries of wisdom passed down.
During harvest, simple rules allow us to obtain wines of great quality: very low yield, harvesting done only manually, meticulous preservation of grapes in small crates, and further selection of only the best bunches using a modern sorting table.
Come and visit us, we will introduce you to the Schola Sarmenti reality.
Near San Pietro Vernotico, a village in Salento, one finds the Vinicola Mediterranea winery. Never has a name been more suitable for a winery that exploits the best qualities and characteristics of the Mediterranean ecosystem. This is a zone that has a natural gift for cultivating vines, thanks to a warm sun and a sea breeze coming from the Adriatic sea, factors which create an ideal climate for wine-making. The winery was founded in 1997 by Giuseppe Marangio and Vito Epifani, both already expert in wine-making but for the first time determined to create their own business. Initially the production was exclusively loose wine which was though appreciated and marketed in all of Italy. In 2000 they began to bottle their wine, Negroamaro, Soraya and Donvito to name a few, and export worldwide. Also their vine varieties are numerous, Negroamaro is the most common then there are Malvasia di Brindisi, Primitivo and others (Montepulciano, Cabernet, Sangiovese and Chardonnay), that have attained the same quality as the indigenous varieties.
