We are elated to introduce you Schola Sarmenti; a unique and multiple award-winning Apulian Winery, located in Salento at the very southern part of Puglia. From the very start in 1999 our mission has been the cultivation of authentic native grapes such as Primitivo, Negroamaro, Susumaniello, Malvasia, and Fiano, in the most natural and organic way possible. Most of these receive the typical Albarello Pugliese Training. In every Schola Sarmenti wine you can feel the warm embrace of a precious terroir, thanks to a magical and harmonious combination of tradition, oenological science, and high innovation. Even our oldest vines (80 years of age) are skilfully and patiently preserved – we take great pride in selecting only the best grapes which are ripened and picked respecting centuries of wisdom passed down.

During harvest, simple rules allow us to obtain wines of great quality: very low yield, harvesting done only manually, meticulous preservation of grapes in small crates, and further selection of only the best bunches using a modern sorting table.
