Co-exhibitor of Vignerons Indépendants d'Alsace
Domaine Sohler Les Vigneronnes, located in Nothalten in eastern France, is a 12-hectare family vineyard spread across five major Alsatian terroirs, including the prestigious Grand Cru Muenchberg. Since 1481, every generation of the Steinbach-Sohler family has included a winemaker, and today, Marine Sohler is the first female generation to take up the mantle.
An independent winemaker, the Domaine has been organic since 2021 and produces around 40,000 bottles per year.
We offer three ranges of wines:
1. Les Confidentielles: signature wines with unique vinification methods and limited volumes.
2. Les Sol'Aires: terroir wines, highlighting the saline and crystalline minerality specific to each location.
3. Les Origines: typical Alsatian varietal wines, focused on fruitiness, including Crémants brut with an average ageing period of 18 months on slats.
Respectful and passionate about nature, we use the virtues of plants combined with the lunar cycle for the well-being of the vineyard.
In the cellar, to strengthen the link with the terroirs, we place the parent rocks from each terroir under the tank during vinification and ageing.
