Cantine Riunite & Civ is a cooperative society with an integrated business model, founded on a solid base of shareholders. Over 1,400 associated winegrowers contribute their grapes every year. They work with constant passion and are committed to passing the values and the know-how of their hard work on to the new generations.
The company was born from the merger of two cooperative wineries (Cantine Cooperative Riunite based in Reggio Emilia and Consorzio Interprovinciale Vini based in Modena), thus becoming the hub of Lambrusco production. It subsequently expanded by acquiring Cantine Maschio, leading Prosecco producer based in Treviso, and, more recently, Cavicchioli, a milestone in the world of Lambrusco in the Modena area.
Today Cantine Riunite & Civ, with 8 winemaking centres and 3 bottling plants, is one of the leading wine producers in the world, serving Lambrusco, Prosecco and other sparkling wines to millions of consumers in over 100 countries.
Cantine Riunite & Civ plants are state-of-the-art in terms of technology and production methods. The company boasts a long-standing heritage of winkemaking experience. Oenological research is an ongoing process and innovation is the heart of the quality of all wines. A pursuit for excellence conducted with constancy, passion and extensive know-how applied to every phase of the winemaking process, from the vineyard to the bottling. An integrated production system guarantees product quality and traceability.
