A collective adventure : Above all, it’s an original story… A story of shared passion for exceptional terroirs! It’s the story of 15 women and men, most of them winegrowers from father to son; all of them custodians of a living, rich, and complex heritage… All passionate about their land, driven by conviviality, exchange, and, above all, sharing!
Our goal : to highlight the strength of a collective in order to promote our terroir.
Together, we achieved what none of our peers had done before: we formed an association, Les Grands Crus d'Exception de Champagne, to exchange ideas, progress together, organize events, and craft a unique cuvée named C17 in reference to the 17 Grands Crus villages that compose it.
In 2017, we had the bold idea of creating a communal cuvée by blending the 17 Grands Crus of Champagne, a historical and truly extraordinary composition in our region. This is all the more remarkable as it was initiated by 15 winemakers contributing the fruit of their own production.
From the harvest, we blend the grapes from each of these exceptional terroirs to create a marc of 4,000 kg in a traditional press.
A true concentration of passion, love for the land, and exchanges and consultations between the fifteen members of our association, the resulting wine is produced in limited quantities, exclusively in magnums, and always vintage-dated. We naturally chose this bottle for its aging qualities and the aromatic development it provides.

For 4 generations, Champagne Juillet-Lallement has been perfecting its “passion for blending”. This family-owned estate is located in Verzy, with vineyards planted on the terroirs of Silleryand Verzy (both classified as Grand Cru).
Today, it is Jean Lallement, 4th generation, who oversees the HVE-certified work, which respects nature, the terroir, and the people of today as for tomorrow. The 4+ hectares are spread over 9 plots. The wine is made in stainless steel vats to preserve the great expression of freshness derived, in part, from the north-facing exposures of the Montagne de Reims, or in 300L oak barrels sourced from the Verzy forest for depth and complexity.
Champagne Juillet-Lallement is a member of the oldest association of winegrowers in Champagne, “le Club” (Trésors). The family estate is also a member of the “Grands Crus d’Excéption de Champagne”, the only group of winegrowers that brings together all 17of the Grands Crus in Champagne.
Legras & Haas, founded in 1991, is currently led by three brothers, Rémi, Olivier, and Jérôme Legras. Together, they craft authentic and honest wines. In addition to Chouilly, other prestigious terroirs such as Les Riceys and the Vitryat lands enrich the unique aromatic heritage that defines the distinctive style of Maison Legras-Haas (38 h in total). Champagne Odyssee
The vines have belonged to his family for several generations. The Launois family is historically Harvester-Cooperator and sells bottles from the Cooperative.
Julien Launois, after having worked 9 years abroad, decides to open a new page in the history of the family business with his wife: Sarah. He wants to produce his own Champagnes. Sarah Launois is an artist, graphic designer and passionate about wine. She thus draws their new identity and creates a brand of Champagne according to the name of their son: Paul Launois.
In 2013, they acquired a wine building in the heart of Mesnil sur Oger. They carry out the renovation themselves and finally make their first harvest in 2015. They vinify in stainless steel vats and in barrels, experiment, blend, taste ... and from this same passion for champagne is born the "Champagne Paul Launois".
Champagne Paul Launois is a love story, the love of a man and a woman, the love of wine and art, the love of a son and a family..
