About Vins de Loire: Within France's third largest wine-growing region for PDOs wines, InterLoire brings together 3,000 operators (winegrowers, wine merchants, and cooperatives), representing 80% of the wine-growing area's volume. InterLoire brings together 34 appellations and designations from Nantes, Anjou-Saumur, and Touraine, as well as the Val de Loire PGI, spread over 42,000 hectares and 14 departments from Vendée to Puy-de-Dôme. Its purpose is to represent, promote, and enhance the value of Loire wines by serving the collective interests of Loire operators and guiding and coordinating the vineyard's response to the challenges of tomorrow, in a sustainable and equitable manner. Its missions are the economic and forward-looking management of the sector, research and experimentation, and the collective promotion of Loire wines, as well as the coordination of stakeholders in the Loire wine industry.
