The Hungarian Wine Marketing Agency, the state organization responsible for national wine marketing, was established in January 2023 with the primary objective of increasing the visibility, competitiveness, and sales revenues of Hungarian wines on the domestic and international target markets.
Through innovative campaigns, trade and public events, as well as sectoral cooperation based on the community brand Wines of Hungary, the Hungarian Wine Marketing Agency aims to promote the diversity of wines produced in Hungary's wine regions and to present the country as an outstanding wine tourism destination with centuries-old wine culture.
The Agency's mission is to encourage conscious consumer attitude by advocating for the choice of Hungarian wines thus enhancing the competitiveness of the wine industry and the recognition of Hungarian wine culture, at the same time promoting moderate, responsible wine consumption.
The Agency works closely with Hungarian wineries and professional organizations supervising the wine sector to continuously improve its activities. Its goal is to provide market players with modern marketing tools that will enable Hungary to compete effectively on the international market and to adapt successfully to the changing economic environment.
The Agency operates as an independent body under the direction of the Government Commissioner Responsible for National Wine Marketing, following the principles set out in the National Wine Marketing Strategy.
Figula Winery was founded in 1993 in the Balaton region, known as the jewel of the Pannonian landscape. In order to achieve the highest quality, all processes from the care of the grapes to the bottling of the wines are carried out and supervised by the family.
On the currently 35-hectare estate - in the spirit of terroir management in the classical sense - we treat the produce of our vineyards separately and work with strict yield restrictions - we present the diversity of the wine region.
In recognition of his many years of work, Mihály Figula† received the highest professional award in Hungary, the honorary title of "Wine Producer of the Year" in 2000. Son jr. Mihály Figula was also became the „Wine Producer of the Year” in 2022.
The vineyard – established 35 years ago – holds 85 ha of the wine district on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, providing excellent opportunity to producing fresh, elegant and stylish white wines coupling with complex, well-balanced red wines.
The sparkling wine cellar with more than 100 years of history and caved in limestone are ideal for mastering „methode traditionnelle” sparkling wines.

Holdvölgy is an independent, family-owned winery located in the Mád basin of the Tokaj appellation. Our philosophy centers on quality-driven, sustainable viticulture, with an emphasis on prevention rather than intervention.
We cultivate 28 hectares across 30 parcels in seven distinct vineyards, allowing us to express the diversity of Tokaj’s exceptional volcanic terroir. Our award-winning wines are produced in limited quantities, with the utmost respect for the fruit and its origin, combining traditional winemaking methods with modern technology.
Our goal is to craft wines that, vintage after vintage, serve as the most authentic imprint of this unique terroir.
All grapes are hand-harvested—in special cases, berry by berry. Holdvölgy produces a wide range of white wines, including dry and sweet styles, blends and single-parcel selections, as well as 6 puttonyos Aszú wines for collectors. Since 2006, an Aszú has been made in every vintage and released only after eight years of ageing, with access also available through our en primeur program.

A winery from Tokaj-Hegyalja, in perhaps the most exciting terroir in the world.
We are young. At least in spirit. We embarked on this task as if we were to live for another thousand years: there is no time, no space, no cost-benefit analysis, it simply has to happen... Or maybe as if the world were to end tomorrow!?
We have been consuming wine for a long time. It's not the comparison with others that makes us unique, but that our wines arise from our personal fire. Our unique destiny nourishes them. To achieve this, we had to break away from the familiar and bring forth what lies within us, only within us and our territories. This is also a risk. We risk not being accepted. For our own truth, we risk this too...
We love the wines of Tokaj-Hegyalja, and the exciting terroirs of the world. We taste a lot, but when it comes to our own, the principles are firm: we aim for the elegance that we love, which can reveal this terroir and the potential in our vineyards. So, we work on the perfect proportions for us.
‘We strongly believe that great wines can only be born from exceptional vineyards.’

.Making wine, building a winery and bringing it to success is not simply a business – it is a passion, an integral part of your life. We have been producing grapes and making wine on Somló since 1946. The Tornai Winery started with the momentum of the post-war rebuilding effort, and decades of continuous construction have made it one of the most significant family estates of Somló Wine Region.
In the best vineyards of the Somló hill, we mainly grow the indigenous grape varieties. Wine made from these can best showcase the volcanic taste of Somló, which is one of a kind in the world. Our main variety is clearly the Juhfark, but other traditional grape varieties are also important to us: Furmint, Olaszrizling, Hárslevelű, Tramini, and we are happy to take care of the other indigenous variety of Somló, the Csomorika. In response to the changes of the market, we introduced the highly successful Hungarian varieties, the Pinot Gris, the Zeusz, the Zenit and the Irsai Olivér to Somló.
We strive to make the most perfect wines, as shown by a number of major international accolades as well. We are most proud of our 4 Trophy Awards at the International Wine Challange in London. But we don’t just offer wines, we also offer events. Experiences that Somló, this unique hill, will make forever memorable.
The Tűzkő Estate is located in Hungary, in the small municipality of Bátaapáti, nestled in the gently rolling hills of Tolna’s wine region. Tűzkő Birtok, one of the oldest wineries in Hungary. Tűzkő’s production philosophy aims at achieving the best expression of each grape variety by single varietal winemaking, both white and red grape varieties. The region’s history and potential attracted the attention of important wine makers including Jacopo Mazzei and Piero Antinori, both tied to the world of wine for generations.
aThe Antinori family was deeply inspired by the quality of the wines produced, the presence of existing vineyards on the land, the historical, impressive cellars excavated in tuff rock and the beauty of the landscape so, in 2000, they decided to take over management of the winery together with the Mazzei family.
