Co-exhibitor of DEV'UP CENTRE - VAL DE LOIRE
Domaine is a family property of 32 hectares, 25 of which are in AOC Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil with the remaining 7 in AOC Bourgueil is entirely planted with Cabernet Franc. In the estate, the vines mainly grow on hillsides on gentle south-facing slopes. The soils are primarily composed of calcareous-clay. The terroirs have the special feature of producing wines which are highly colourful and tannin-rich for the appellation. The harvest are carried out mechanically, and the grapes are sorted before being put into vats. The wine-making and ageing processes are carried out in stainless steel vats. Today, Thierry and Véronique manage the estate, along with their two children Nicolas and Mélanie. Two cuvée wines stand out due to their ages : Vines up to 35 years old, L'Expression ; vines between 35 and 80 years old, les Vieilles Vignes. One cuvée wine stands out due to its terroir, le Vau Jaumier. One Bourgueil cuvée wine, Passion. One unusual cuvée wine, L'Insoumise.
