Belongs to Bizard family since 1882, Château d'Epiré is the oldest family estate of Savennières. Located at Epiré, north part of the appellation, vines grow on schale stone just above the Loire which produce very high quality grapes. After an hand picking, wines are aged in a lovely twelve centurys church transformed as a cellar in 1906. We produce traditionnal Savennières with long etablished traditionnal methods.
Family vineyard in the Layon valley (Bonnezeaux/Anjou/Loire), continued by Remi Pivert since 2019, with the passion and the will to produce hand-crafted, precise and accurately terroir-revealing wines from native varieties such as Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc and Grolleau Noir.
This translates into a very meticulous and strict work in the vineyard, an organic farming and low intervention in the cellar in order to preserve the purity of the fruit and the sincerity of the wines (terroir expression). All our wines are fermented with natural yeasts.
The estates' terroirs diversity allows to produce great whites (Chenin) on a unique quartz terroir, reds on clay-limestone soils (cabernet franc), and reds on schists soils (grolleau noir / gamay).
The Domaine Armand David family vineyard has been nurtured for 4 generations in one of the best wine-growing regions of France, that of Saumur. In the heart of our underground Tuffeau cellars we offer a wide range of table wines and appellations to taste and enjoy: Crémant de Loire, Saumur (Dry or Semi-Dry), Saumur (White and Red), Rosé De Loire, Cabernet d’Anjou, Coteaux de Saumur…
Perrine m’a rejoint
ensuite pour apporter son énergie au projet et l’inclure dans notre équilibre familial. Nous cultivons aujourd'hui 16ha en viticulture biologique.
Anchored on the land of Saint-Cyr-en-Bourg since 9 generations, the Domaine de Nerleux is a family wine estate in the Loire Valley. The Nerleux, “black wolves” in old French, made way a long time ago for the vines. Amélie Neau succeeded her father Régis in 2011 and now manage the vineyard of 30ha. The winemaker has been able to push forward her practices to add modernity while keeping some of the tradition related to her heritage. This is how Amélie want to continue the work initiated by her father: to move towards practices that are increasingly respectful of the environment and since 2022, the Domaine has been certified Organic Farming. Nerleux wines are exceptional for their freshness, but also for the diversity of the grape varieties (Cabernet Franc, Chenin, Chardonnay) and the appellations (Saumur Blanc, Saumur Champigny, Saumur Rosé, Crémant de Loire, Coteaux de Saumur). The vineyard produces red wines, dry or sweet white wines, a rosé and bubbles. There are wines for all occasions and for all markets (professionals and individuals), fresh wines easy to drink or wooded wines to decant… In terms of vinification, quality and requirement are Amélie’s key words. Passionate and committed, she is even more during this crucial stage. Indeed, it is her sensitivity that prevails in decision-making, bringing a wind of femininity to the wines of Domaine de Nerleux.
