Autréau, a name present since 1670 in the village of Champillon.
Although the art of champagne did not exist at that time, the Autréau family was a family of artists whose authors today have their place in the Louvre Museum and the prestigious Château de Versailles.
Later, viticulture occupied many generations in our family who at the time sold grapes to large merchants.
At the beginning of the 1950s, Gérard Autréau had the idea of embarking on the adventure of producing champagne.
A few decades later, it was the turn of the son, Eric, to try his hand at producing and selling champagne and who was very successful.
Then came Laurent's turn, who has returned to the family business for 16 years.
Today, Eric & Laurent supervise the production of more than 800,000 bottles per year.
Today the farm is certified High Environmental Value (Level 3) and Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne and sells 50% on the export market across the 5 continents.
