The Agave Pairing Experience explores the sensory dialogue between agave spirits and Mexican gastronomy. Arturo Aguiñaga, MBA Wine & Spirits, and chef Mercedes Ahumada of Chicahualco combine their expertise to analyze the aromatic profiles of agave distillates and the principles of pairing across food, spirits, and cocktails.
The session is built around concrete case studies, including a cocktail, the María Magdalena—the chef’s signature dessert—and a selection of exceptional distillates curated by Comuna 52.
