Dry red wine/ Protected Geographical Indication: Peloponnese
Varieties: Agiorgitiko, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah
Aging: Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah are aged for 12 months in new acacia barrels, then are blended with Agiorgitiko, and aged for another 12 months in new french oak barrels.
An almost opaque deep red, with a very expressive bouquet of charming, sweet aromas: dried fruit, black cherries, raspberries, figs, black currants, sweet spice, elegant floral hints, and a light streak of graphite. The presence of oak and vanilla is strong. In the mouth, this wine is dynamite: dry, full-bodied, with velvety, mature tannins, and the acidity to balance it all. Each sip is a true mouthful, with an impressive, long aftertaste.
