Vivera winery is based in Linguaglossa, on Mount Etna, one of the most fascinating and magical places in Sicily. The 52 Hectares, certified organic, are distributed in three Sicilian estates: Linguaglossa, where we produce Etna doc wines, Corleone, village in the province of Palermo, where there are local and international grape varieties, and Chiaramonte Gulfi, village in the area of Ragusa, where Vivera produces the famous Tonda Iblea extra virgin olive oil.

We have been growing grapes for many generations. Vine rows, the breeze across the leaves and sea scents shape our world, along with and the ever changing and unexpected shape of the Etna, raising majestic before our eyes, all that bring Vivera to transform passion for nature and the territory into wines full of culture and beauty. Our land, Contrada Martinella, provides for the right balance of conditions to farm organically and preserve these beautiful natural settings. Since 2019 Loredana Vivera has been managing Vivera winery with the goal to transport anybody into this unique universe, which she loves so intensely.

Martinella Estate:

Vivera estate extends over 15 hectares on the northeastern slope of Etna, at 600 meters above sea level. We grow Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio and Carricante, producing Etna Red, Rosé and White wines Dop. Martinella soil is very deep, more than 250 metres all volcanic, with subacid reaction and a good amount of volcanic rocks. These conditions are ideal for producing long-lived, elegant and mineral wines. Salisire, our Etna Dop White, all Carricante grape; Martinella, our complex and mineral-rich Etna Dop Red with Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio; Vivera Etna Rosso Dop red wine made just with a fruity, fresh and full of personality Nerello Mascalese; Rosato di Martinella, Etna Dop Rosé wine made of Nerello Mascalese, with long finishing, mineral and dry.

Palermo, Corleone Estate:

The family Vivera owns an estate of 34 hectares in Corleone with vineyards and olive trees. The wines from Corleone are fresh and delicate, in an environment full of hills. Vivera produces Altrove, a delicate and

crisp white wine, Terra dei Sogni, a red wine elegant with personality, and C’era una volta... fruity and gentle rosé wine. A’mami is a white wine, a blend of the two estates: the Carricante grape 50% is from Martinella vines of Etna estate and the Chardonnay grape that comes from Corleone vineyard. A very elegant wine, tasty and unique that join two different stones, the white calcareous ones from Corleone and the black lava stones from Etna volcano. The extra virgin olive oil produced here is from Nocellara del Belice olive.

Ragusa, Chiaramonte Gulfi Estate:

Chiaramonte Gulfi estate extends over 3 hectares and it is totally dedicated to the production of the precious Tonda Iblea extra virgin olive oil organic certified.
