Two Generations Horácio Augusto Lourenco planted the first vineyards in the 1980s and impelled the foundations of his dream. The son, Jorge Miguel Graça Lourenço, developed tr iculture, created the wines and structured the company as we know it today. It is a story of passion, struggle, entrepreneurial ability and a deep love of the land, illustrated by a smi amily business with 50 hectares of vineyards, spread over the counties of Meda and Vila Nova de Foz Côa. The dispersion of the various plots of vineyards in the Poço do Canto, Val a Teja and Pocinho, with a great diversity of climate, altitude - between 130 and 700 m and soils, shale in the lowlands and shale/granite in the highest lands, allow the creation of ver diverse wines.
