The Languedoc Wine Council represents the winegrowers producing both AOP from Languedoc and IGP Sud de France wines. Our winegrowers are the mirror image of our natural surroundings. They are full of irrepressible energy with their strength of character acting as a life force drawing them towards freedom. Both creative and inspired by their unbridled passion, they are imbued with a generous spirit of sharing. Excessive and rebellious, they constantly feel the need to push the boundaries, inspiring them to venture into uncharted territory and innovate. Thet embody the new French wine scene, following their instincts, releasing themselves from the shackles of convention, pushing the envelope and shaking up the wine world. This is their promise, their bold commitment. And their ambition is to share the spontaneous pleasure that they capture in every bottle.
In the heart of the appellation contrôlée Minervois La Livinière, the vineyards ( 85 acres) are on the hillside at 225 to 250 m altitude (slopes beetween 5 to 10%) facing south and sheltered from the northwinds by the Black Mountain.
We have been labellised "High Environmental Value" since 2014 and Organic for the 2023 Vintage.

The estate of Château Catherine de Montgolfier was named in honor of their mother, Catherine de Montgolfier, a descendant of the grandfather of the two inventors of the Montgolfier hot air balloon.
The acquisition of this property is a family project led by Christophe Chamouleau de Montgolfier, along with his brothers Thomas and Mathieu, with the support of their father. The ambition is to produce high-quality wines in the La Clape AOP, a Cru in the Languedoc region.
They have renovated the estate to enhance the quality of organic wines.
Significant investments have been made, including the creation of a unique aging cellar in Europe with 21 Beaune eggs and oak barrels. Emmanuel Gagnepain, a consulting oenologist, assists them in restructuring the vineyard and in blending wines of excellence.
The first production was well-received upon its launch, and the second year looks promising for premium red, white, and rosé wines.
Christophe will be delighted to present his wines at Wine Paris 2024 (Hall 4, Booth 266).
The story begins in the 16th century when the Cavalier family settled in a former medieval priory, a unique place. At the foot of the majestic Pic Saint-Loup, the years go by, each generation leaves his mark, and the domain follows the agricultural and viticulture history of the Languedoc region.
In 1984, Jean-Benoît took over management of his family’s estate. He modernized the grape varieties, promoted new terroirs, extended the production area and built a new cellar, in order to further improve the precision of our wines.
Animated and inspired by the garrigue that surrounds us, he has turned towards biodynamic know-how. Thinking nature as a living ensemble and listening to its murmur, is an evidence.
The 15th generation has joined the 14th. The attention to detail and the requirement that we have for each gesture, each step, release originality of each terroir with perfectly balanced wines, fine tannins and an inspiring freshness. Day after day, our wines are nourished by exchanges, meetings and balances.

For nearly a millennium, the town of Saint-Christol has been renowned for its winemaking heritage. Historical records from 1193 attest to the presence of vineyards cultivated by the Knights of the Order of Malta, also known as the Knights Hospitaller of Saint John of Jerusalem.
In the 1970s, Elisabeth and Luc Moynier established Domaine de la Coste on a 33-hectare property at the highest point of Saint-Christol, on land classified as AOC. Today, their sons, Arnaud and Hugues, continue this family legacy, driven by a deep passion for viticulture and a commitment to crafting wines that reflect their love for the land and strong family values.
Country of the Tramontana and the Mistral, dominating the lower Languedoc from its hills, Domaine de la Coste-Moynier is located at the crossroads of the Provençal world and the great Languedoc territory.
Planted on a hill made of rolled-pebbles, and exposed to the winds of the Tramontana and the Mistral, the wine estate offers one of the most magnificent views in the region.
This mountainous amphitheater, over which we have a breathtaking view, reminds us of the harsh climate at the estate. Littered on the hill in direct contact with the elements, the winds are often harsh and strong. The sea spray is also part of the landscape of this region. The clay- limestone soils, of the Villafranchian type, are dotted with small rolled pebbles which store heat during the day, promoting optimal maturity of the grapes.
Our reputation has been built upon the depth and refinement of our Grand Vins Rouges, as well as the freshness and finesse of our Rosés, which, from the hills of Saint-Christol—once a commandery of the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem—overlook Provence and the Mediterranean.
Our Provence-inspired Rosés and Guide Hachette-awarded Reds stand as a testament to our commitment to excellence.
Dedicated to sustainable viticulture, we embrace an environmentally respectful approach. Certified organic, we work daily to preserve biodiversity and express the true character of our unique terroir.
We would be delighted to welcome you for an exclusive tasting, where you can discover our wines and explore potential collaboration opportunities.

Les Crus Faugères - Mas Olivier
Altitude as Terroir, the Horizon as our Future.
Since 1959, Crus Faugères / Mas Olivier have united winemakers around a high-altitude terroir shaped by schist and the Mediterranean climate, in the northern Languedoc region, within the Faugères appellation.
As leaders of the appellation, they produce wines that are authentic, fresh, and elegant — the expression of a collective and demanding know-how.
True to their landscape heritage, they are both its guardians and its visionaries, combining tradition, respect for all living things, and innovation.
Each bottle carries this vision: that of a vibrant land with its eyes on the future.
The winery brings together 70 winemakers and covers 800 hectares of vineyards.
We offer a wide range of blended wines under the Faugères and Languedoc appellations, in all three colours: red, white, and rosé.
All our wines are certified under High Environmental Value (HVE), Organic (BIO), and Sulphite-Free standards.
We are also able to offer PREMIUM single-varietal wines, grown at high altitude with low yields and vinified using traditional methods.
