It is from a family property dating from the 16th century in Montagne Saint Emilion that Michel Coudroy has made his heritage prosper.
Today, Michel Coudroy's vineyards cover 65.3 hectares: 50 hectares in MONTAGNE SAINT-EMILION, 7.10 hectares in LALANDE DE POMEROL, 6.20 hectares in LUSSAC and 2 hectares in .
The vineyard is managed in high environmental value (HVE3) with the greatest respect for the vines and the terroir. Thermoregulation of the entire cellar allows for perfect control during vinification.
Pomerol
With its two hectares, Château Haut-Tropchaud occupies a privileged position on the best part of the high plateau of Pomerol. The terroir of Haut-Tropchaud is made up of an upper layer of gravel with typical ferruginous concretions in the subsoil. The grape variety is 100% Merlot. The wine undergoes a meticulous vinification, with a 4-week maceration, and is aged for 18 months in new barrels. These attentions allows us to offer wines with an intense aromatic persistence whose bouquet and finesse are harmoniously combined with a powerful body. It is a well-balanced wine with excellent ageing potential.
Lalande de Pomerol
Château La Faurie Maison Neuve covers an area of 7.1 hectares in the commune of Néac. The soil is covered with alluvial gravel from the Quaternary period, and rests on veins of ferruginous elements with a clay base. The harvest is mechanical. After a 4-week maceration and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine is aged in oak barrels, one-third of which are renewed. The terroir is expressed by the fullness, roundness and very soft tannins of the Merlot. It is the perfect harmony between elegance and power.

Gourmandise
Gourmandise de Maison Neuve is a very fruity wine, to be enjoyed now. It is composed of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. The soil is clay-limestone. We made a short vatting in order to have a maximum of fruit and less tannin. It can be kept for about 3 years. It is a wine for pleasure.
