The estate story: The wine estate has been founded in 1876 by François GRIMARD a former cooper. The winery has been taken over by his son Maurice Grimard early 20th century, whose daughter Janine Grimard married Jean BONNET, who are the parents of the actual owner Christophe BONNET.
The story of Péché du Roy: King Louis XIV is an integral part of the history of the BONNET et FILS estate. During his stay in Bourg in 1650, he particularly appreciated our terroir, the “Sun King” feasted on peaches from Guiraud, the current place of the vineyard. A.O.C.
Côtes-de-Bourg: The Côtes-de-Bourg are located on the right bank of the Dordogne and Gironde, a few kilometers from the city of Bordeaux. The variety of soils is rich, one finds there clay, limestone and gravel. Its other specificities are its meso-climate, which gives it a slightly higher sunshine, less extreme temperatures as well as a lower rainfall than in the rest of Bordeaux.
What makes us unique:
Château Rousselle is a 26-hectare estate in the Côtes de Bourg and Blaye appellations of Bordeaux. Located north of Bordeaux, Rousselle has been in the area since 1636.
Vincent Lemaitre, a wine enthusiast, changed his life to become a winemaker in 1999 by purchasing Rousselle. We produce high-quality red wines from Merlot, Malbec, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
The vineyard is certified HVE3 and is currently undergoing conversion to organic farming.
Since 1870, five generations have cultivated Château Vieux Mougnac organically, on 7.5 hectares of unique terroir. They produce white, red, and rosé wines, ready-to-drink wines for epicureans, rare and unique in Bordeaux, some vintages of which can be enjoyed as young as 10 years and reach their peak up to 20 years (2006).
Located in the heart of the Grand Saint-Émilion region, this Bordeaux Supérieur is offered at very competitive prices through direct sales.
Featured on the finest tables in France and abroad, it is a favorite and a top 3 seller at the Wine Museum shop in Bordeaux (La Cité du Vin), and also the only estate recommended to visit in Saint-Émilion by the Guide du Routard.
After 15 years in international wine environment, building partnerships, developing markets, strengthening existing business, I created my own Bordeaux wine merchant company in 2011. Our activity is oriented to Bordeaux Grands Crus and quality petits Chateaux. Our distribution is mainly on export markets.
In 2018, Sarah SIMON decided to change her life. She took over her magnificent 3-hectare Domaine de Saint Amand estate.
Her commitment is to produce modern and quality wines that are honest and of good balance, offering very good value for money.
The vines of the domain are overlooking the Garonne river in the village of Cambes, just outside the city of Bordeaux.
The 30-year-old vines offer ideal conditions and enormous potential for producing excellent wines that are both pleasing and subtle.
Produced under the two appellations Cadillac Côtes-de-Bordeaux and Bordeaux, the production is declined in four colours: red, white, clairet and rosé.The grape varieties are Merlot, Malbec, Semillon, and Sauvignon.
Viticultural practices are totally respectful of the environment
Obtaining HEV (High Environmental Value) certification in April 2020 was only the first step in this direction. The Domain has been organic certified in 2024.
Located only 20 minutes from Bordeaux, the Domaine welcomes travelers and visitors in quiet surroundings, the perfect location for a holiday stay or professional event
THe wines are already distributed on some export markets : Luxembourg, Germany, Norway, Belgian.
Sarah SIMON is looking for distribution partners e.g. specialized independent wine stores, who would be interested in her estate profile and share her values (small artisan winegrower, certified organic vineyard, quality wines with medals).
