Casa Marin – Pioneers of Chile’s Cool-Climate Excellence
Casa Marin is one of Chile’s most distinctive and internationally acclaimed wineries, celebrated for redefining what is possible in cool-climate viticulture. Founded in 2000 by María Luz Marín, the first female winemaker to establish her own winery in the country, Casa Marin stands as a symbol of vision, precision, and perseverance. Located just 4 km from the Pacific Ocean, in the remote hills of Lo Abarca, Casa Marin is the only winery with its own Denomination of Origin: D.O. Lo Abarca, officially recognized due to the uniqueness of its terroir. This makes our wines true monopole expressions, reflecting a place like no other.
Our vineyards thrive in extreme coastal conditions marked by cold winds, pronounced salinity, complex calcareous soils, and remarkable diurnal shifts. These challenging elements shape wines that are naturally vibrant, structured, intensely aromatic, and unmistakably mineral. Every bottle is an authentic representation of Lo Abarca’s singular landscape—small in scale but grand in character.
Casa Marin has earned a reputation as one of the most awarded boutique wineries in Chile, consistently praised by the world’s top critics. Our wines appear on prestigious wine lists and in selective markets across the globe, appreciated by professionals seeking authenticity, precision, and pedigree. Sustainability is central to our philosophy: we are certified by Wines of Chile and work exclusively with renewable energy, preserving the land for future generations.
At Wine Paris, visitors will experience an exceptional lineup that showcases our mastery of cool-climate varieties:
Sauvignon Blanc – our flagship variety, celebrated for its tension, salinity, and layered aromatics. Expect vibrant citrus, herbal notes, and a long, saline finish.
Riesling – elegant and age-worthy, offering precise acidity, stone fruit purity, and floral finesse.
Gewürztraminer – expressive and refined, with exotic aromatics, spice, and remarkable balance uncommon in the New World.
Pinot Noir – coastal, fresh, and complex, combining red fruit brightness with earthy minerality and fine texture.
Syrah – a cool-climate interpretation with peppery character, depth, and maritime freshness.
Casa Marin’s wines are crafted in small lots, highlighting site-specificity and uncompromising quality. Each cuvée reflects our commitment to producing wines that are not only distinctive, but unforgettable.
We look forward to presenting the essence of Lo Abarca and sharing why Casa Marin continues to be “Awarded by Nature”.
