In Gallura, northeast Sardinia - Italy - Tenute Olbios crafts distinctive wines on magmatic pink granite soils, just steps from the sea — where vines root into rock and breathe salt air.
This is one of Italy's most exclusive terroirs: mineral-rich granitic sands, sea breezes and intense sunlight produce wines of remarkable minerality and sapidity, impossible to replicate elsewhere.
Our production centres on Vermentino di Gallura DOCG — Sardinia's only DOCG — pushed into expressions few would expect, including a Vermentino matured 10 years in cellar with flor yeast.
Beyond Vermentino, we work with Cannonau di Sardegna DOC and the exceedingly rare indigenous grape Muristellu.
Here, one person oversees everything — from pruning to bottling. Daniela Pinna is both owner and winemaker, a rare combination ensuring absolute coherence between vision and what ends up in your glass. Her pursuit: original, age-worthy Vermentinos, vinified in steel, stone, concrete eggs and French oak.
All grapes are rigorously hand-picked from non-irrigated vineyards. The estate holds SQNPI (Sistema di Qualità Nazionale di Produzione Integrata) certification. In the cellar, every choice is driven by preserving the integrity, typicity and unique character of each grape variety — all our wines are 100% vegan.
