Tenuta San Jacopo is a multi awarded tuscan farm founded in 1737 in Cavriglia, between Chianti Classico and the Valdarno Superiore in the first totally organic wine production area in Europe. It extends for 140 hectares located at about 300 m.s.l. , of which 40 are vineyards, and then olive trees and woods, entirely converted to the Organic agricolture since 2003. Here we produce red and white wines, a sparkling wine, grappa and olive oil, with particular attention to the enhancement of the territory such as main source of expressiveness of our wines. Low yields per hectar, manual harvest and selection .Each variety is vinified separately respecting its organoleptic characteristics because we believe that the best wine comes first of all from quality grapes. Among the vines are grown Sangiovese, Trebbiano, Montepulciano, Merlot, Cabernet S. and Chardonnay. Wide range of wines and prices, entirly made by our grapes, vinified in our cellar by Costantino and his amazing team.
