The Tassi company is a recent addition to the Montalcino wine scene, but the family behind it, native to Montalcino for generations, has a rich history and a deep connection to the territory. The Tassi and Franci families have distinguished themselves since the 1960s for the production of another product that is part of Montalcino's excellence: honey.

In the late 1990s, Fabio Tassi, driven by his great passion for wine, decided to start his own wine production with his father Giuseppe by purchasing land in the Castel Nuovo dell’Abate area and planting what today represents the symbolic vineyard of the company.

The Tassi company aims to produce high-quality wines that best express the characteristics of the territory and its grape, Sangiovese.

The company employs a traditional production method, with each Brunello being vinified and aged separately to offer a product that fully represents the vineyard and the vintage of production.
