Co-exhibitor of Uggiano/Tenuta Aquilaia
Vigne Surrau located in Arzachena (north eastern coast of Sardinia) consists of 64 hectares planted to Vermentino, Cannonau, Bovale Sardo, Caricaggiola, Carignano and other international varietals. The winery practices sustainable agriculture and Lotta Integrata, or integrated pest management, throughout all their vineyards (9 different parcels).
In the cellar, Vigne Surrau uses three different methods for the vinification and aging for their wines – steel, cement, and wood. Most recently, the winery has also started using amphorae for the Vermentino.
The production is of about 450.000 bottles of which 70% are dedicated to the Vermentino di Gallura DOCG in all declinations.
The modern winery was designed and built as a meeting place where meditation, art and wine can come together.
