Sumarroca is a family-owned winery founded in 1983 in Subirats (Barcelona), born from a deep passion for agriculture and wine and a long-term vision rooted in the land.

Under our care we have two beautiful estates in the Penedès area (just 50 km outside Barcelona) with more than 240 ha of vineyards, 100% certified organic, where all our wines and cavas are born.

Sumarroca’s estates are set in outstanding surroundings influenced by the River Anoia, the Mediterranean climate and the Montserrat Massif, creating an ideal ecosystem for preserving biodiversity, an asset we actively protect and promote.

At Sumarroca, we work to obtain authentic wines and cavas with great personality, maintaining a firm commitment to local grape varieties and to long-aged, traditional-method sparkling wines.
