Winery & Vineyards Sokos SA, has been producing wines for the last forty years in the region of Kitherona’s Mountain. According to the Greek mythology this area is where God Dionysus was born. The region is rich in vines and grapes and is known for thousands of years for the fine quality of its wine.

Since then, wine has naturally been the central feature of Kitherona's major festivities and after forty-five years’ experience in wine making, Andreas Sokos's believes that his winery has succeeded in recreating the wines that Dionysus – Bacchus enjoyed!

Winery exists in Erythres of Attica since 1983 and till now its remarkable development has classified it among the biggest wineries in country. A new winery is also built in 2023 in the heart of Peloponnese, at Palaiopyrgos Arcadias in altitude of 650m. Winery cooperates with all well known retail chains in Greece and furthermore, exports its wines to more than 20 countries all over the world.

Its distinctions among the international wine competitions (Decanter WWA, Concours Mondial de Brussels, Challenge International du Vin, ecc) plus our international certification of quality assurance (IFS Higher Level), can tell the best of our wines and its march.
