Since 1887, Bologne, the oldest distillery of Guadeloupe has been located on the site of a 300-year-old sugar cane plantation stretching from the slopes of the Soufrière volcano to the Caribbean sea. Heirs of this long-standing tradition, the Sargenton-Callard family has remained faithful to the artisanal Bologne know-how and has always sought to exalt the expression of the terroir and the sugar cane, the only gauges of genuine quality. Producer of Agricole rum, Bologne is the only distillery that cultivate the Black cane renowned for its unique aromas. The distillery is also fully committed in an environmental approach with namely a collection of organic rums.
