López Cristóbal was created from the union of two surnames and a common mission: the devotion to viticulture and its origins.López Cristóbal bases the quality of its wines on its estate-owned vineyards and on the production of single-vineyard wines that authentically express the unique character of their soils. The vineyards are meticulously worked in order to extract honest wines that reflect the character of the Ribera region, but with an added finesse that makes them incredibly drinkable.

The rosés made by Bodegas Sinforiano are established as the most awarded in specialized international competitions. On several occasions in recent years, some brands such as Quelías, Sinfo Rosé, Sinfo Rosado or 50 vintages Rosado, have been awarded Great Gold Medals and have sometimes received the best scores for rosés in the world.
The philosophy of Bodegas Sinforiano is to continue betting on rosé wines, with different proposals made from different strains and techniques, thus protecting the varietal heritage of Castilla y León, and offering attractive, delicate and refreshing wines, thanks to a cultivation of the vineyards based on respect for the environment and on the specific tasks for the production of rosés, seeking to preserve the primary aromas and flavors and obtain wines with their own personality and character.
For over sixty years, we have been dedicated to winemaking. Founded in 1957 as one of the first twelve wineries in the Ribera del Duero, we are located in La Horra (Burgos), a historic village where underground cellars carved into the rock since the 12th century still bear witness to centuries of tradition.
Raised among vineyards, we learned to respect the land and craft wines that express its true identity. Today, we own 200 hectares of vineyards in the heart of Ribera del Duero’s “Golden Triangle” (Roa – La Horra – Gumiel de Mercado), at 800–850 meters of altitude. Most vines are bush-trained, including several vineyards over 100 years old, whose low yields provide wines of exceptional depth and character.
We believe great wine begins in the vineyard. Privileged soils, an exceptional climate, and meticulous year-round work allow us to produce wines of the highest quality. Our goal is simple: that every glass reflects the soul of our land while honoring the legacy of the generations who shaped it.
Liberso Curioso Verdejo was born from the personal dream of its creator, Ignacio Hernández, an oenologist and agricultural engineer educated at the University of Valladolid. His career in prestigious projects—such as Pago de Carraovejas or the Tomás Postigo winery, where he served as Head of Vineyard Management for 14 years—led him to explore some of the most exceptional vineyards in Ribera del Duero, Rueda, and throughout Castilla y León.
It was during those years that he discovered the true potential of the Verdejo grape: a variety capable of giving life to long-lived, profound white wines with a distinct identity. Driven by this conviction, and by the lack of age-worthy white wines on the market, Ignacio founded Bodegas de Crianza de Pozaldez S.L. in 2015.
Liberso Curioso Verdejo is not just a name; it is a way of understanding wine. Each vintage is the result of meticulous micro-vinifications, carefully selected barrels, and native yeasts. A unique blend that seeks to express the purest essence of Verdejo in the style of the finest French vignerons.
The result is a premium wine, produced in limited quantities and with an authentic character: complex, elegant, and with a remarkable capacity to evolve in the bottle.
Bodega Hermanos del Villar (founded in 1995) is a leading winery in the high-quality Rueda DO market. Our exceptional white wines, made with Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc grapes, come from the region's finest plots (130 hectares of our own vineyards) planted in riverbeds of stones, which impart a distinctive style and minerality. ORO DE CASTILLA is a renowned brand offering wines with excellent value. ORO DE CASTILLA wines are not just young and fresh, but also world-class whites capable of evolving with surprising complexity over time. This quality is backed by numerous awards each year. Some of the latest GOLD awards for CASTILLA VERDEJO: - Wine Enthusiast 93, 92, 91 (2), Best Buy - Vinous: 96, 95, 94, 92 (2) - Decanter Magazine: 94 (2), 93, 91 (2) - Wine & Spirits: 91 (2) - Tim Atkin: 92 (2), 91 - Guia Peñin: 91 (2), 90 (3) - Mundus Vini, gold medal (3) - Bacchus, gold Medal ( 4)
Sarmentero is placed in the backyard of a castilian house in the tiny town of Quintanilla de Arriba, Valladolid.
The property was acquired in 1942. Until that year, the house was part of the three miller houses in the town. From 1942, the house was dedicated to the production of tiles, cattle breeding and growing wheat and barley along with personal wine production.
Generations of vine growers gave us the knowledge, discipline, love and the passion for wine to show its best nuances. Amparo Repiso, fourth generation winemaker, decided to go further with her dream and start her own winery in 2004. She started with just one barrel of wine, 60 gallons. That wine succeeded so much among everybody that she decided to keep producing wine and has been slowly increasing the production little by little to this day.
After many years of winemaking in small adobe pens, we decided to renovate the building in 2013. A new building that allowed us to work more comfortably and efficiently but preserving the soul of our wine, the soul our ancestors taught us.
