Gorizia lies between the ancient valleys of the Isonzo and Vipacco, sheltered to the north by the majestic Julian Alps and gently influenced by the nearby Adriatic Sea. Bordered by the emerald-green Isonzo River and overlooking its soft plains, this land has been shaped over millennia by nature itself. Over time, the river carved and formed a unique territory—one that offers extraordinary character to the vine.
For three generations, our family has cultivated this remarkable land with passion, respect, and an unbreakable bond to its origins.
In what was once an almost exclusively male world, it was a courageous woman, Bianca, who first began working these soils. After her came her daughter, Anna, who without fear chose new paths, relaunching and expanding the family winery with vision and determination. Their strength, intuition, and devotion became the true foundation of everything that followed.
In 2013, Enrico decided it was time to give a clear identity to what Bianca and Anna had built. From this desire, the Amandum wine line was born. Amandum—“what must be loved”—is both a declaration of values and an ode to the women of his family: to their resilience, their grace, and the love they poured into this land.
Today, generation after generation, that story continues. Isabella now leads the commercial soul of the winery, taking care of sales and export, carrying Amandum beyond its borders while remaining deeply rooted in its origins.
Amandum is not just a name—it is a promise. A promise to honor the past, to protect the land, and to share with the world a family story shaped by strong women, visionary choices, and a love that, quite simply, must be loved.
Founded in 1878, in a small town called Ontagnano, located in the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
However, it was only around the late ‘900 that the real change took place…my father Massimo and my grandfather Alberto, seeing the potential of the area, decided to give their all to this company; they focused on combining our winemaking heritage with the newest technology of the time, improving both the growing system in the vineyards and the vinification system in the cellar.
As of today, all the wines are still made using only property grapes, strictly selected from 5 vineyards located in Ontagnano. Friuli Venezia Giulia, is one of the few Italian Regions specialized in the production of white wines due to its geography conformation and the unique weather that follows (we are surrounded north from the Alps and south from the Adriatic see).
As my father Massimo is always saying, their philosophy is: “to emphasize what our soil is generously giving us: the pure fruitiness, the acidity and the minerality that we find in all our grapes”
In Cividale del Friuli, in the heart of the Friuli Colli Orientali, at the top of a hill, there are our house and our winery. A story of love for vines and wine, started by grandfather Ermenegildo, familiarly called “Gildo”, many years ago and continued by his children and grandchildren, in the name of quality and tradition. Today our company includes sixty hectares of Cappuccina-grown vineyards, mostly located on terraces. The combination of ancient techniques and the most modern technologies allows us to create wines, both native and non-native, which reflect the most typical Friulian wine culture. Few words, a lot of work and a great passion.
La Rajade is a small wine estate in the Collio region, in Northeast Italy, on the border with Slovenia. It is an area renowned for the excellent quality of its still white wines. We cultivate about 7 hectares of hillside vineyards, producing roughly 30,000 bottles per year.
We produce wines from both indigenous grape varieties (Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia and Schioppettino) and international ones (Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon).
We will be attending Wine Paris to expand our presence in international markets.
Lis Neris is located in the heart of the renowned wine growing region of Friuli, in the village of San Lorenzo, between the Slovenian border to the north and the right bank of the Isonzo river to the south.
More than 70 hectares of vineyards are planted in the most beautiful part of a broad shelf of calcareous gravel, dragged down by the melt waters from the glaciers of the Eastern Alps.
Sea, mountains and valleys create a unique environment that represented the cradle of Europe’s most important civilisations: the ancient Roman Empire, the Republic of Venice and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Thanks to its privileged position Friuli has always represented a bridge between Latin and Germanic cultures and its wines are a clear example.
One of the Paradises for white wines.
Marina Danieli Estate is one of the leading estates of the Friuli Colli Orientali DOC.
The Danieli family’s passion dates back to 1870, when Filotimo Danieli arrived in Buttrio for the first time. Together with his wife Anna Beltrame, he started the winemaking activity which has now reached its fifth generation and is led by Letizia Barbi.
Today, the estate covers over 90 hectares of vineyards, woods and vegetable gardens. The vineyards, located in Buttrio (Udine), extend over 30 hectares at an altitude of 130 meters above sea level. South-facing, they enjoy a breathtaking view over the hills of the Friuli Colli Orientali DOC. The protection of the Julian Pre-Alps and the proximity to the sea ensure ideal natural ventilation, which is essential for vine health and grape quality.
In recent years, the estate has expanded from wine production into the hospitality sector, creating a complete and sustainable offer that includes:
We are a family-run estate, rooted in an exceptional territory and a long-standing winemaking tradition. All our wines are produced entirely in-house, following a certified sustainable method (SQNPI), with the aim of actively preserving biodiversity and the integrity of our land. Our environmental commitment is also reflected in the use of lightweight bottles.

Our family has developed
a certain philosophy which
unites the careful valorization
of our grapes with the
contribution we have received
from generations of familiarity
with the land. In addition, we
try to stay current with new
developments in the field of
oenological research.
Even though grandfather Igino and father Sabino have
learned the art of cultivation directly in the fields and
vineyards, Francesco brought a new perspective to an old
art. Having studied oenology and worked in some of the most
prestigious wineries in the Doc Aquileia region as well as
Argentina and the United States, he was able to bring home
new experiences and incorporate innovative technologies
which he learned abroad.
