Petrussa is a three-generation farm, managed by the family since 1900. Our lands are very wide (10ha) and are situated in the Eastern part of Friuli Venezia Giulia region, on the borders with Slovenia. The property is divided in three parts, each with a peculiar climate and soil, living a specific and local character to wines.

Grapes from each Vineyard are separately vinified, with the aim of emphasizing the peculiarity of the different vines. Wines macerate on the yeasts for a quite long period in the cellar and are often put in barriques for maturation.

It is worthy to stress the importance of Schioppettino , typical variety of vine from Prepotto, having unique and peculiar characteristics. The wine produced from this vine is the standard –bearer for this enterprise and this land in the world. The average annual production is about 50.000 bottles, sold only to high quality restaurants, wine bar and wine shops, mostly placed in Italian market, but also abroad.
